About

Medieval Midlands has been created as an online hub to link the research activities of medievalists across the Midlands, UK.

The establishment of the Midlands3Cities consortium in 2014 has created exciting new opportunities for collaborative research across the three cities of Birmingham, Leicester and Nottingham. As one of the largest groupings of research staff and students in the Midlands, medievalists are using this opportunity to support dynamic, collaborative research by uniting researchers from all disciplines with a common interest in the study of the Middle Ages.

This website will publish events and activities taking place across the consortium as well as the latest research stemming from the Medieval Midlands network.
